How to Make Fried Rice

Here is another incredibly simple dish from the Korean community. It's called fried rice. Korean fried rice tends to be more on the salty side and has some vegetables mixed in, so it's overall delicious. Korean fried rice is so easy there's a saying in Korea: "It's so easy a child can do it before he or she walks". This recipe shows you how to make a traditional fried rice with some extra ingredients included.

For this recipe we will need: Rice, onions, peas, carrots, eggs, sesame oil, soy sauce, and for an added taste, marinated beef.

Rice

First you have to cook the rice. This step is simple. Simply put the rice in the rice cooker and you're done. While the rice is cooking, it's time to prepare all the dishes. Marinating beef isn't complicated at all. You can buy the marinade from any Asian market and soak the meat in the marinade. While the rice is cooking and the beef is marinating, dice the onions and carrots.

After the rice is cooked, get a large pan, put it on medium heat, and add the rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. At the same time, add the marinated beef. Cook these ingredients until the marinated beef is done cooking.
Next, add the rest of the ingredients except the eggs. Drop the heat to about medium high and continue cooking until all the ingredients are done.

Once these ingredients are done cooking, drop the heat to about medium low, and add the eggs. The eggs are meant as binders so we add them last so that they have a better effect on the rice.

Now simply serve and enjoy this wonderful Korean dish!
